With progressive thinking towards digitization in all the Exxaro Business Units, business intelligence and analytics initiatives have been undertaken. Due to many parties involved, the solution patterns followed have impacted the source systems’ performance and contributed to ineffective maintenance and support. Further to this Exxaro did not have a uniform Analytics Governance and Audit process and infrastructure.

The Dake team was involved right from the initial customer meeting up until successfully deploying the reports. The team performed a comprehensive analysis and created a detailed design document to create the ETLs. The ETLs ran successfully as per the schedule every day and produced reports.
