Description of Situation

Maluti-a-Phofung Municipality is an organization which offers services to the public. Meter reading discrepancies are a challenge in the municipality. Data acquisition and purification has been taken up. However, the process was slow due to paper forms and manual interventions.

Dake has been providing services in Advisory consultation, system implementations, Infrastructure Support and solution support. With this experience Dake has successfully implemented the Meter Data Management system, which allows automatic sorting and purification of data. It was later extended to the mobile devices for data collection.
